Annual Duck Derby!
Every year on July 4th, the Northglenn-Thornton Rotary Club puts on its biggest and longest running fundraiser,
the Duck Derby!
Location, location, location!
The duck race is held at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park in Northglenn, in conjunction with the City of Northglenn’s July 4th Festival!
A Great Cause!
During the event, thousands of small rubber ducks are released into the canal through a large chute and then race to the finish line. Prior to releasing the small ducks, there's a Giant Duck race for large decorated ducks.
There are more than 150+ winners between both events and proceeds go right back into the community supporting local food banks, literacy/youth leadership scholarships, CASA teens, and much, much more!

What We Believe
Rotarians believe in helping out where we can. Sometimes that's internationally, sometimes it’s nationwide, but most often it is right in our own back yards. Our back yards happen to be Northglenn and Thornton, Colorado. We are very passionate about giving back to our communities and helping the amazing people in them grow!

FOOD SERVICE PROJECTS
